With the advancement of Human Machine Interface, it has become an essential tool in plant operations. It allows better interaction between the machine and the operator. Better interaction with machine will increase the operator efficiency. At ELECMEC, we understand this principle and apply them during design of HMI. One of the principles is consulting with an operator before designing the screen. The operators are the one using the HMI day-in day-out. We also use some basic design techniques such as color coordination, consistent font, information grouping, feedback response and icons.
